Ages Of Rock Podcast

Welcome to the Ages of Rock Podcast! We are three guys who have a one thing in common... a love of Rock and Roll. In particular we have an affinity for a band you may have heard of... KISS. Bill and Dennis had this dream of doing a podcast about our love of Rock and Roll. At a Judas Priest show in 2014 Bill introduced Dennis to Allen and we teased the idea of doing a podcast. Allen has done a podcast before and so the Ages of Rock Podcast is now a reality. Our goal is to talk about all things rock not just KISS... We hope you find us intriguing, funny, and occasionally highly opinionated.

We believe that good music stirs emotion. This is caused by great songwriting so we are sharing songwriters that have moved us!  Oh yeah there's some other stuff thrown in there, KISS stuff, the RRHOF, and another dose of Yank It or Crank It courtesy of Dennis' wife, Kelly.

Oct 6, 2016

Allen's wife Laura suggested that we do an episode about 10 songs our wives like, so we did. As we reveal each of the songs we give each song a thumbs up or a thumbs down.

Before we discuss these songs, we briefly touch on current music topics such as the temporary reunion of Dokken, Ratt's reunion (sans Blotzer) on the Monster's of Rock Cruise, and more rumors surfacing of Ace Frehley rejoining KISS in 2017.

Sep 29, 2016

While Googling something completely unrelated to this podcast, Allen came across a post from November 2005 and mentioned it to Bill & Dennis. They decided to give their thoughts, in a "Yank It or Crank It" style. Let them know what you think of each song that made the list.

Jul 28, 2016

After having listened to KISS fans complain about the "same old stale setlist" we thought it would be fun to share what we each thought would be our ultimate KISS setlist. We set the limit at 20 songs. With more than 20 studio albums in their catalog, choosing just 20 songs is tougher than you think. What 20 songs would you choose?

When we began recording this episode, the planned topic was going to be "Is Rock and Roll Still Dangerous?" but Mother Nature had other plans and the recording got cut short so we went with it and we're bring you a very short show this week.
